Burden of difficult encounters in primary care: data from the Minimizing Error, Maximizing Outcomes Study.

This study found that managing difficult patient encounters is an important area to address for physicians because of associated burnout and dissatisfaction. These findings were captured from a nested analysis of data from a previously published study.
