Personal digital assistant-based drug information sources: potential to improve medication safety.

The investigators compared three drug information sources available via personal digital assistant (PDA) for potential efficacy in reducing medication errors. Although one resource provided more complete information, the authors determined that no single resource could address all patient safety needs and suggest that more than one source be used.
