Guided prescription of psychotropic medications for geriatric inpatients.
Peterson JF, Kuperman GJ, Shek C, Patel M, Avorn J, Bates DW. Arch Intern Med. 2005;165:802-807.

Using a computerized provider order entry system, researchers displayed guidelines for administering psychotropic medication to elderly patients at a tertiary care academic hospital. Results indicate increased prescription of recommended doses, decreased prescription of nonrecommended drugs, and fewer inpatient falls.
