Do nurse and patient injuries share common antecedents? An analysis of associations with safety climate and working conditions.

This study found that hospital units with poor safety climate had an increased risk of preventable adverse events for patients and an increased risk of injuries (such as needlesticks) among nurses, indicating a close link between safety culture and nurses' working conditions.
