Perceived impact of duty hours limits on the fragmentation of patient care: results from an academic health center.

The authors surveyed physicians and allied health staff on the impact of duty hours restrictions. Although responders were initially more concerned about continuity of care than sleep deprivation, they supported a shorter shift model to minimize errors.
