The culture of a trauma team in relation to human factors.

The investigators observed trauma teams and interviewed key personnel to determine factors influencing the culture of trauma teams. They found that human factors elements play a role in supporting an effective team culture and suggest that formal training in these competencies be built into the medical education process.
