Program Description/Program Objectives:

The four-module course was developed to help ambulatory surgery center staff meet CMS requirements for a credible infection prevention and control program in the ambulatory setting. The course focuses on the observations and assessments frequently made during a regulatory visit to an ambulatory surgery center.
