A comparative analysis of incident reporting lag times in academic medical centres in Japan and the USA.

This study compared incident reporting practices at two hospitals and noted significantly longer lag times in reporting for physicians and for major events. The authors advocate for use of lag times as a potential measure for performance in reporting systems.
