Impact of feeling responsible for adverse events on doctors' personal and professional lives: the importance of being open to criticism from colleagues.

This survey of Norwegian physicians found that, while many physicians had experience with adverse events and felt personally responsible for these events, most still felt reluctant to criticize colleagues who acted unprofessionally or unethically.
