The outcomes of recent patient safety education interventions for trainee physicians and medical students: a systematic review.

Patient safety is now recognized as a critical component of medical education. This systematic review found that published patient safety curricula were generally effective at improving student knowledge, attitudes, and skills in patient safety, but it remains unclear whether these benefits are sustained over time.
