Contextual information influences diagnosis accuracy and decision making in simulated emergency medicine emergencies.

This study found that less experienced physicians rely more heavily on contextually relevant information for diagnostic accuracy compared with their more skilled colleagues. The authors suggest that educators should consider the level of contextual information provided when rating training scenarios.
