The effect of prescriber education on medication-related patient harm in the hospital: a systematic review.

Medication safety remains a critical patient safety priority. This systematic review found that educating prescribers about medication errors in hospitals has not been demonstrated to reduce adverse drug events. The authors suggest that further work is needed to develop and evaluate prescriber education programs.
