Simulation is a promising strategy to identify opportunities for improving communication and processes. Exploring challenges to incorporating simulation into daily activities, this commentary outlines five strategies to integrate simulation into care routines to optimize cross-functional organizational learning such as establishing a robust investigation infrastructure and an immersive investigator training process.
