Comparison of adverse events during procedural sedation between specially trained pediatric residents and pediatric emergency physicians in Israel.

This study assessed the ability of residents to perform procedural sedation safely in pediatric patients. There was no difference in the rate of adverse events between attending physicians and residents who had received specific training in procedural sedation.
