Doctors' views of attitudes towards peer medical error.

The role of peers in observing and disclosing medical errors is influenced by a myriad of factors and complicated by the inability to consistently translate reported beliefs into practice. This study found that the most common attitude toward peers’ medical errors was reporting it directly to the physician involved and asking them to disclose to the patient.
