Effects of a team-based assessment and intervention on patient safety culture in general practice: an open randomised controlled trial.

This randomized controlled trial of 60 general practices sought to improve safety culture using a team-based self-assessment and reflection process. The investigators found no differences between control and intervention groups in structures and processes supporting patient safety, general safety climate, or incident reporting.
