This qualitative study examined the perceptions of physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and administrators participating in a multifaceted intervention designed to reduce polypharmacy in elderly patients in Sweden. Interviews with participants revealed several benefits and challenges in ensuring interprofessional collaboration to improve patient safety.
