TeamSTEPPS is a recognized intervention to improve teamwork behaviors. This review examined how TeamSTEPPS affects medical error and patient satisfaction in the ambulatory setting. Although the researchers found that error rates decreased and patient satisfaction improved, they conclude more evidence is needed to confirm the sustainability of these improvements in the outpatient environment.
